“We will help KW get things resolved and won’t stop until we get the items removed or get down to the bottom of why the collectors are reporting the same incident multiple times on KW’s credit report.
"Three different collection agencies collecting for this same incident and showing 3 different amounts."

A Client, KW, was referred to me to assist with his credit by a friend who once used our services.
We always ask our client what is their goal and after speaking with KW, he stated he just wanted to get his credit in order so he can use it at some point when he needs it. After speaking further discussion we came up with a goal of consolidating his debt so that he does not have to pay so much in high interest. We set a goal date of 6 month to a year. I am excited for the challenge and glad we have a definite goal in mind. KW seems like a good guy and just did not get very good explanations on how this finance and credit system works. I am happy he is looking to get lower interest rates to improve his scores. This client had one major issue on his report causing his scores to be 470, 492, and 495. After speaking to the client we learned that there was a credit card that he fell behind on and they closed the card.
KW did not understand that he still had to pay the balance even though the closed the card. I was able to advise KW of how this credit card system works and that the reason they probably closed it was because of the two time he was late. (It would have been nice if the credit card company would have advised him of this and encouraged him to make payments to become current as he clearly did not understand them closing the card).
Nonetheless, as always, we advised the client to give us dates as to when he can make the payment and bring the account current and we let him know this was a major part of why his scores were low.
In going through the remaining items on the report and discussing the issue with KW, there was a collection agency collecting for AT&T for a large balance. KW was furious and stated he has been dealing with this for a while. KW advised me that those fees was for several boxes he had from AT&T that he already turned in and they are stating that they did not receive them. KW has proof
and evidence that he mailed them in to AT&T and yet they still charged it to him on his credit report. Not only that, it appears that three different collection agencies are posting 3 different amounts with AT&T. KW has called AT&T to get this resolved and has had no luck. What is interesting is how there are three different collection agencies collecting for this same incident and showing 3 different amounts.
We will help KW get things resolved and won’t stop until we get the items removed or get down to the bottom of why the collectors are reporting the same incident multiple times on KW’s credit report.
We are glad to be able to take this file on and looking forward to the findings and solutions that may come out of this.
